🚀 AutoCAD MEP — Profiles & Start Up
Understanding profiles and starting your project the right way
🟢 AutoCAD MEP creates shortcuts for profiles after installing, according to the selected units.
📘 Installed Profiles on Desktop
🟢 As shown, I selected three different profiles.
The first icon:
English Profile – Global
This profile has catalogues with Imperial and Metric Measurement Units, it’s related to European.
The second icon for:
US Profile
With imperial measurement units.
The third icon for:
Metric Profile
🟢 Each profile contains a catalogue with specific measurement units, which can be selected when you start working on the program.
▶️ Starting the Program
🟢 Click on the icon twice to start the software. The program starts according to the selected profile.
🟢 Now I can continue working on an old project or start a new one.
🔍 Viewing Installed Profiles
🟢 If you need to see the installed profiles, go to the command window, then type Options.
🟢 Click on the Profiles Tab.
🟢 You can see four profiles: one for AutoCAD software, and the others for AutoCAD MEP software.
💡 A profile for AutoCAD Architecture will also be found if you installed it.
